Virginia Wong
Head of Tutors & Founder · Mathematics Expert
Virginia brings over five years of teaching experience and provides high-level mathematical guidance designed to help students succeed. She holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, where she completed a double major in Finance and Statistics. Her teaching focuses on building strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Outside the classroom, she enjoys staying active at the gym and exploring diverse culinary cultures through travel.

Alex Wong
Science Expert · 10+ Years Teaching Experience
With over a decade of teaching experience, Alex brings extensive scientific expertise from Hong Kong to help students master complex concepts with confidence. He holds a Master of Education from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, combining strong academic credentials with practical teaching insight. His approach focuses on breaking down challenging material into clear, manageable ideas while building critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, he is an avid culinary enthusiast and enjoys traveling to his favorite destination, Japan.

Yuxin Wang
Grammar, Literature & Critical Writing Expert
Yuxin holds a Master’s in Literacy and Language Education from the University of Toronto and brings over four years of international teaching experience from Sapporo, Japan. She specializes in grammar, literature, and critical writing, helping students develop a strong command of language and a deeper appreciation for academic excellence. In her free time, she enjoys reading anything she can get her hands on, from fiction and news articles to manga and comics! Her favourite snack is rice crackers! Savoury snacks gang for the win!

Beatrice Lew
Essay & Creative Writing Expert
Beatrice is an archaeology and sociology student at the University at Toronto with a strong passion for literary theory and critical thought. She works with middle and high school students to develop their literary analysis skills that deepens their abilities to read and write at or above a grade level. Outside of tutoring, she is an avid consumer of television and hockey and is aiming for either grad school or teacher’s college!
